You have already learnt some German and have a basic knowledge of the German language up to level B1 (according to the European Framework).
You want to read and understand philosophical or other texts written originally in German?
You are writing a thesis about a German philosopher or author?
You are not necessarily interested in everyday German language but much more in learning vocabulary and structures enabling you to read and understand German philosophers or authors?
We will support you in the following way:
- in individual lessons where we will focus on your special interests and needs, for example by reading and translating texts, by teaching and by concentrating on adequate vocabulary and grammar
- in intensive or evening classes where the main interest is reading and understanding texts by philosophers or authors.
After an intensive discussion of your needs and preliminary knowledge we can then create a full tuition programme tailored to your specific needs.
